In the
case of the professionals, the immigrant
must have a title which comes from a
university career from 4 years (8 semesters)
at least and it must be summated to
revalidation or professional
acknowledgement, before delivering the
application. This university title is the
equivalent to an Australian Bachelor Degree.
In the case or some professions and / or
activities, it is required that the title
that the immigrant has comes from a
technical career of, at least, two years,
but it must be proved that the immigrant has
five years of working experience in the
area. |

Just in
the case of the system professionals with a
title that comes from a technical career,
they must accredit six years of working
experience, whether it is before or after
the graduation. This technical title is the
equivalent to an Australian Diploma.
This requirement is omitted, just in the
case of immigrants with working experience
in systems or management, if they accredit 8
and 5 years of working experience in the
area they want to apply to
get an Australian visa.
A second requirement
is having working experience posterior to
obtaining the title which comes from a
university career or from a technical
career, having to show it in the 24 months
before the presentation of the application,
in which it must be stated that the
immigrant has worked, at least, 12 months.
The exceptions pointed out in the paragraph
above are valid. Those who are using their
application in an activity must prove that
they have a technical career of two years of
studies and 5 years of working experience,
in an area related to the activity.
The third requirement is the age that the
immigrant must have when he or she presents
his or her visa application, it must state
that the immigrant has less of 45 years old;
under any circumstance, the application of
an immigrant is accepted if he or she is
already 45, because it will be automatically
rejected.
The fourth requirement is that the applicant
to immigrant must show, through a IELTS
sufficiency exam, General Training version
(www.ielts.org), which counts with a basic
level of standard English. If it is applied
to an activity, the immigrant must obtain 5
out of 9 points, and if the immigrant is a
professional, he or she must obtain 6 out of
9 points.
Some professions, such as dental surgeons,
will have to proof their command of the
English level through the version of an exam
called Occupational English Test, having to
obtain, also, 6 points out of 9. Other
professions need a major command of the
English level; this is the case of the
teachers, doctors, professional nurses,
nutritionists, physiotherapists,
veterinarians and pharmaceutics, among
others, who will have to approve the
academic version, obtaining 7 out of 9
points.
The additional requirement is having a good
health state at the moment of sending the
application, because the Australian
government tries to keep their health system
from been affected by an immigrant with
diseases that could possibly affect the rest
of the population or whose treatment could
be expensive. In any of these cases, the
application would be rejected.
Finally, the additional requirement
regarding the behavior of the applicant to
immigrant is related to not having any
criminal record and not having a record of
residency or illegal work.
Once the applicant to immigrant has managed
to complete all the basic requirements, the
presented file will be summated under a
score test and according to the results, to
which visa he or she can apply will be
stated.
The presentation of applications in this
program is done directly in the Adelaide
Skilled Processing Centre, located in the
city of Adelaide in Australia.
Summing up, the work opportunities in
Australia are increased if the applicant
applies to the Qualified Migration Program,
the visa application.
